Nataliia Deineka

Nataliia Deineka is a visual artist, art teacher, illustrator, writer, and Ukrainian philologist. Of all her professional roles, Nataliia afirms that working with and for children is "the most useful and important activity."

She has expressed her art in various projects, including workshops, art camps, books, and her own art studio Sun, where she taught children for 7 years. Following her artistic residency in the Ukraine Solidarity Residencies Programme in North Karelia (Finland), she participated in numerous artistic proposals across Finland, such as exhibitions in Helsinki, Turku, Kuusisto, Tohmajärvi, Eno, performances in Kuopio, and other workshops in cities like Tampere.

After receiving a SKR grant, her latest project is the bilingual Ukrainian-Finnish book "Michelle is Choosing a Profession" (AS Priton, 2024).
