Michelle is choosing a profession

Saturday, September 14, 2024 - Sello Library - 13:00

Saturday, September 28, 2024 - Vuosaari Library - 15:00

What do you want to be when you grow up? A question everyone has asked themselves at some point, and children will reflect on in this dynamic activity.

First, we'll enjoy an interactive storytelling session of the bilingual Ukrainian-Finnish children's book “Michelle is Choosing a Profession” (AS Priton, 2024), led by its author and illustrator, Nataliia Deineka (UA). Nataliia will also facilitate an art workshop where children will draw their favorite professions while creating their own book.

A beautiful souvenir of Kolibrí 2024 to take home. And there’s more! Courtesy of the publisher AS Priton, Nataliia will gift each participating child a copy of “Michelle is Choosing a Profession.

Imagination, hope, art, and literature come together in this lovely activity that you can’t miss.

“Michelle is Choosing a Profession” comes to Kolibrí Festivaali thanks to a collaboration between Kolibrí, Ukrainalaisten Yhdistys Suomessa ry, and HIAP.
