Artists, scientists and other cultural workers, native speakers of Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Kurdish and Ukrainian languages residing in Helsinki. PICNIC project is looking for you!
Propose:
- Multidisciplinary workshops -music, dance, visual arts, among others-, duration: 20-30 min. max. for:
- Babies and their families,
- Children aged 1-4 years old and their families.
- Storytelling, duration: 20-30 min. max. for:
- Babies and their families,
- Children aged 1-4 years old and their families.
To be part of PICNIC session for small ages (0-4 years old), that will happen in Helsinki during the months of June, September and October 2023.
PICNIC is a project of Kulttuurikeskus Ninho Ry organized around diverse artistic workshops lead by a cultural worker in own heritage language to complement a series a self-organized encounters for newly arrived families, families with small children, especially those with children born during the pandemic.

One of the aims is offer opportunities for unemployed and newly arrived immigrant professional talents and artists applying accessible and inclusive proposals for small ages children and their families. This initiative is part of our project OPEN SPACES for Integration fund Helsinki City.
