“What Stories Does the Moon Tell?” is a storytelling theater play, where the most unexpected characters reveal their secret gardens.

The Portuguese theater company, and Kolibrí 2024 Guests of Honour, O Som do Algodão, arrive with a performance full of short stories and filled with music and poems that highlight the the magic of the nightfall. A sensorial and performative experience to be shared amongst families.

As the sun sets and the moon rises in the sky, stories come to life. These are tales of magic, featuring such animals as pompous goats, pilot-geckos, flying-elephants and toothless crocodiles. The sounds and music let us travel into the stars, accompanied by the comfort of soft voices and wordplay.A magic play for babies, children, and dreamy families.

The participation of O Som do Algodão is possible thanks to a collaboration of the Embassy of Portugal in Finland and Estonia and Camões I.P.
