MUDA Kids: African Rhythms for Living Communities

Saturday, September 12, 2026 - Sello Library - 12:00 PM

Sunday, September 20, 2026 - Kulttuurikeskus Caisa - 11:00 AM

African rhythms are coming to Kolibrí Festivaali, and the whole family is invited! Tanzanian musicians Baraka and Kasheshi bring us a joyful, accessible, plurilingual music and movement experience where rhythm becomes a bridge between generations and cultures. As they invite us: “We want to build a living community where babies, children and caregivers create, play and belong together – across cultures and languages.” From quiet listening and gentle swaying to leading rhythms and co-creating short dance sequences, every participant joins at their own level , seated, moving, or simply feeling the beat. Let the rhythm bring you home!
