Saturday, September 16, 2023 - Sello Library - 11:00 AM

Saturday, September 30, 2023 - Malmitalo - 3:00 PM

Artist Olesia Rudenko encourages us to create our own Motanka doll, the Ukrainian national doll. Used as a toy and a talisman for people and homes, this beautiful doll is one of Ukraine's oldest traditions.

Come to Kolibrí with your little ones and don't miss the opportunity to build your own Motanka doll as a family, using a variety of colorful fabrics. And don't worry if you're not skilled with a needle and thread, because according to Ukrainian tradition, the Motanka doll is not sewn, but instead, we'll use hot glue.
