Loolo dzii – Red heart

Saturday, September 13, 2025 - Sello Library - 11:00 AM

Roma culture jumps onto the stage of Kolibrí to the rhythm of 'bulerías'! Anette Åkerlund (FI) will offer a passionate performance for all families with flamenco dance and singing!

Don't miss this beautiful concert with a repertoire that will merge traditional Roma children’s songs, popular flamenco songs, and other songs in Roma and Finnish, composed by Anette.

She will be accompanied by flamenco guitarist Joonas Widenius (FI) and violinist Lotta-Maria Heiskanen (FI), who is specialized in flamenco and Middle Eastern music.

Anette hopes that her concert will motivate Roma children to listen and sing in the Roma language, feeling proud of their own culture and heritage.

This activity is possible thanks to the support by the Finnish Cultural Foundation.
