Daniela Alatorre is a Mexican architect specializing in wood construction. A graduate of UNAM, her professional journey spans Mexico, Brazil, and Finland, where she developed her expertise in timber architecture through Aalto University's Wood Program. She has participated in experimental wood projects, working across design, manufacturing, construction, and assembly. Currently a university teacher at the Wood Program, Daniela emphasizes hands-on learning, innovation, and experimentation in her teaching, deepening her understanding of wood as a construction material.
