Through his creative process and illustrative work across Brazilian cities, Roger Mello explores the relationship between image and text, drawing on visual culture and storytelling. In this lecture, Mello will focus on the role of children’s literature in shaping imaginations, preserving cultural memory, and promoting heritage languages across generations.
