Arianna Squilloni (IT) studied theory of thought as well as Latin and Greek philology. She is a writer, teacher, and editor. Since 2002, she has lived in Barcelona, where she worked at Thule Ediciones (2003–2007). In 2008, she founded her own publishing house, A buen paso.

She contributes to specialist magazines and takes part in conferences and discussions in Spain and abroad. As a writer, she has published picture books ("El libro de los saludos" and "El constructor de muros", A buen paso; "Bajo las piedras", Akiara), novels ("El verano de John Silver", Milrazones), and essays ("En la oficina del editor", Pantalia).

Her publishing house A buen paso is the first invited publisher at Kolibrí Festivaali, in its 2025 edition — 10th anniversary.
