Loica (Angela Valenzuela) is a singer, song composer, nature advocate, and facilitator. For the last 10 years she has worked in the intersection between music and environmental activism, which is the spinal cord of her artistic identity. Songs spring as a refuge that helps her to stay grounded in the face of climate devastation. Loica is currently based in Finland where she studies a Masters degree in Global Music at Sibelius Academy. She has released three albums that seek to bear witness to the climate crisis and create a sense of active hope in the fight for climate justice. Her next full length album, Geographies of Hope Vol.1, will be released in July 2026.
