Yasna is a Phisical, Spanish and Craft teacher. She studied at the Concepción University (Chile) where she got her bachelor in Education with graduation in Physical Education and later on, at the University of Helsinki – Master Degree in Arts, providing her with the title of Spanish and Craft teacher. She already worked at the University of Lappeenranta and at the moment she works at the Käpylä School. She belongs to the collective KORJAUSSARJAKOLLEKTIIVI, which organizes workshops to fix and repair clothes. She herself is a restless fixer, clothes transformer, designer and on the top of that an artist of her own fine silver jewellery.
About her motivation on being part of Kolibri, she says: ” Kolibri Festival works to keep the spanish language, the culture and the tradition of our countries, i want to give my grain of sand to this noble cause”.
