The Sello Library open their doors to Ibero-American art and culture as seen through the eyes of Ibero-American children. We invite you to join us on a creative, imaginary journey to the land of Kolibrí (The Hummingbird). Workshops, shows and a lot of music of the land of Kolibrí celebrate the joy of family time and multiculturalism. Welcome!

10:00-11:00 Little Kolibri Napo – shadow theater

Join us on an adventure deep into the Amazon jungle! Kolibrí – shadow play (performance) takes the spectator to the roots of the stories and myths of the indigenous peoples of South America. Carried out with colorful shadow puppets, the play narrates how Kolibrís and the other birds of the jungle received their colorful feathers.

Workshop on building musical instruments from recycled materials. We can choose to build a pan flute, a maraca or perhaps a rattle or a drum, a drum, perhaps a trumpet?

How far can our imagination reach if we create stories? We are in luck! We will find out in the stories factory with the fantastic support of a group of poets. Come with your mom, dad, aunt, uncle, grandparents or whomever you like and make new friends. These stories will have wings!

We welcome the whole family to enjoy the radiant repertoire of Brazilian children’s plays and songs, brought to us by musicians: Leandro Pellagio and Aline Aurora Martins in Portuguese (Brazil). Which will be your favorite?
