Kolibrí Festival’s music party is full of surprises and playfulness. Many stories to be told, music and songs that celebrate life. Welcome to visit new places and cultures, to listen the languages spoken there and above all, to make new friends.

15:30-16:00 Pikku Aurinko – Music playschool for babies

  • For children over 1,5 years old with an adult.
  • We accept 20 couples.
  • We speak Spanish, English and Finnish.

In the music playschool we use music, movement and play to strengthen the bond between the caretaker and the child through giving them the chance to learn new songs and activities that they can repeat later on. We will be using Latin-American music in Spanish, the native tongues, and Finnish.

Teachers: musicologist Grisell MacDonell (Mexico) & musician Leandro Roco (Argentina) Aurinko ry.

We improvise sound and record it over a soundless video. Will be amazing!

17:30-18:30 Palabras al ritmo, palabras viajeras – Storytelling

Storyteller Maria Serrano retells a Mexican folk-tale about the dance of the Corn Maidens in jaunty, vibrant, and colorful words. There will also be other surprise stories.
