Jarna Piippo

Jarna Piippo holds a PhD with a thesis on Spanish and Portuguese tuition as heritage languages. She teaches Ibero-Romance languages ​​and literatures at the University of Helsinki and other educational institutions, besides working as a translator and interpreter. She has also taught Finnish to immigrants and published textbooks and articles mainly in the area of ​​plurilingualism and language education. Jarna is the mother of four Finnish-Angolan youngsters. “The best thing about the Bilingualism Seminar is to meet other parents and to know about the different situations and language experiences of families!”
