Ana Álvarez Piedehierro
Ana is a PhD in physics and meteorology. She currently works as a researcher at the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Helsinki. There she studies how tiny particles in the atmosphere act in the making of ice clouds, helping to understand the future of our climate. On top of her researcher work, Ana has over 10 years’ experience in organizing fun science workshops for children, teenagers, and families in Spain and Finland. In Kolibrí, she will guide children and adults to a “bubbly” journey involving some fascinating physics.
“Learning and discovering about the nature surrounding us is inspiring and doing it while promoting multiculturalism gives our children a more colorful picture of the world”, this is the essence of Kolibrí for her.
