Kolibrí again at Entresse! Iberoamerican art experiences for all ages. You are warmly welcome to come and get to know new places and cultures, and to hear languages spoken by children – and, best of all, to make new friends. Let’s explore the world through the eyes of Iberoamerican Workshops for the whole family! Registration is required for the workshops. You can sign up from September 1st.

Shelves full of fairy tales in Portuguese and Spanish await children of all ages. You are welcome to come, read and listen to colourful stories from here,  there and everywhere. The stage is free or all volunteers to read stories.

Come to explore your inner anatomy in a paint workshop where we intent to visualize our “inner landscape” physically and emotionally. Let’s make an interior portrait, painting with brushes or our bare hands. Welcome! We speak English, Suomea, Castellano, Portugués and Swedish.

Let’s set wings and color to our imagination! Bring your own t-shirt and with an awesome machine we will print our Kolibrí logo. Then, together with your family, you can decorate and paint the colors or your own hummingbird. We speak English,  Suomea,  Castellano and Portugués.

Synopsis: Kites in Chile are called “volantin”. A dad teaches his son a valuable heritage from his childhood in the Käpylä vicinity.

Profesor: Dario Cabello (Chile)

Volantin is the word that Chileans use for kites. September is the month to fly kites, or “encumbrarlos” as they would say. Come and get to know this beautiful tradition of building and flying kites. Dario Cabello will share the heritage that he got from his dad. We speak English, Suomea and Castellano.

Teachers and musicians: Rodrigo Rodriguez (Chile) and Mikko Nousianen (Suomi)
Rodrigo and Mikko will bring with their traditional clothes from the Andes, ponchos, and fascinating Andean instruments. Come and dress up in a poncho, do music, sing and dance Andean dances. We speak English, Suomea, Castellano and Svenska.
