Saturday, September 21, 2024 - Lastenkulttuurikeskus Pessi - 16:00

Saturday, September 28, 2024 - Vuotalo - 16:00

Bom Cabelo and Tambor Vivo come back to Kolibrí with the vibrant world of Afro-Brazilian culture! Join us for an energetic workshop where children and adults come together to explore the dynamic movements of capoeira and the lively rhythms of traditional samba de roda.

A fun collective activity to learn movements, help your children to practice them and discover traditional instruments such as the pandeiro, agogó, atabaque and reco-reco. You can also play them! The workshop will end with a festive roda (circle), where we will sing and dance. Don't miss it!

In capoeira workshops for children, there are no physical barriers, as everyone can contribute with their unique version of movements.

⚠️ Please remember to bring comfortable clothes, water and earplugs or other kinds of ear protectors, in case you are sensitive to loud sounds.
