Raíces is a Folk Dance group that was born in 2022 as an alternative group representing Chile and its folklore in Finland.

With a cast of mostly Latin American dancers of all ages, Raíces aims to spread Latin American culture and its richness through dance in Finland.

Chilean Marcela Fernandez-Bassi is the founder and choreographer of Raíces, and since 2019, she has been actively involved in the cultural sector, participating in different cultural associations and artistic performances.
