Mandarina Collective

Ina is a German graphic designer and illustrator with over 15 years of experience. She has a degree in Visual Communication from the University of Fine Arts and Design in Halle, Germany. She loves drawing and the different manual techniques of creating images.

In her design work, she creates illustrations and other playful key visuals for public campaigns, exhibitions and books. Ina worked in different projects throughout Europe (Berlin & Barcelona) as a Designer, Illustrator and Art Director, with a focus in social, cultural or educational projects. Since 2014, Ina has been living with her family in Espoo, Finland – where she works at her own studio (www.inafiebig.de). She designs and leads creative workshops with international participants at libraries and educational centers in Helsinki and Espoo.

Ana is a PhD in physics and meteorology. She currently works as a researcher at the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Helsinki. There she studies how tiny particles in the atmosphere act in the making of ice clouds, helping to understand the future of our climate. On top of her researcher work, Ana has over 10 years’ experience in organizing fun science workshops for children, teenagers, and families in Spain and Finland.

Inês Montalvão has been based in Helsinki since the beginning of 2017 and works with concept & experience design in Heureka, the Finnish science centre. With a degree in biology and a passion for art, she combines both, exploring cross-disciplinary approaches, storytelling and illustration in innovative ways, thus creating meaningful experiences. Her enthusiasm and visionary attitude guide her work.
